Four store options, chosen by how much you sell

In Dubai, quotes for an online store range from about 4,000 AED for a template shop to 150,000 AED and more for a custom platform. The honest way to narrow it down is your catalogue: how many products, in how many languages, and whether stock lives in another system. That is how our options are cut.

02 / Selling online in the UAE

Four things every UAE store has to get right before launch

Card payments through your own gateway

Customers in the UAE expect to pay by card at checkout, and many also expect cash on delivery. The payment gateway account is opened by your company, in its name, because the money lands in your bank. We connect the gateway you choose to the store and run real test payments before launch. Gateways set their own fees and approval rules, so ask them for both early: approval can take longer than the build.

Delivery that matches the map

Delivery rules are usually set per emirate: one rate for Dubai, another for Abu Dhabi or the northern emirates, a free delivery threshold, same-day options inside the city. We set up zones, rates and pick-up, and connect a courier where the courier offers a ready integration.

Prices in AED, with VAT shown properly

Prices are displayed in AED. If your company is registered for VAT, the store shows 5% VAT on the invoice and in the order emails. If it is not registered, it does not. Your accountant decides; we configure the store to match.

A licence that covers selling online

An online store usually needs an e-commerce activity on your trade licence. Check this with your free zone or the Department of Economy and Tourism before launch. We do not advise on licensing, but we will ask you about it on the first call because gateways ask for it too.

03 / How the build runs

Five stages from product list to first order

  1. Catalogue planWe read your product list, agree categories, filters and what a product page has to show, and plan the import.
  2. Design of the pages that sellHome, category, product, cart and checkout. You comment on a working draft on your phone, where most orders happen.
  3. Build and importPayments, delivery zones, order emails, legal pages you supply, product import with photos converted to WebP.
  4. Test ordersReal test payments, refunds, stock changes, emails in the inbox, not in spam. We fix what breaks before customers see it.
  5. Launch and trackingSales tracking in Google Analytics, purchase events for Meta, the product feed for Google and Meta on Sales and above.

The timeline depends on the catalogue and on how fast the gateway approves your account. We write the date into the contract once both are known.

04 / What you prepare

The list we ask for in the first week

05 / Platform

WooCommerce by default, and why

We build stores on WooCommerce, the shop system for WordPress. You own the code, the products and the customer data, and the store runs on hosting in your name. There is no monthly platform fee from us; you pay for hosting and for the plugins the store needs, such as the gateway connector.

If you already sell on Shopify or another platform, tell us on the first call. We look at it in the free audit and say plainly whether moving makes sense, or whether you are better off staying and fixing what you have.

06 / What you can check

A store we modernised, in numbers

An online store with personalised gifts came to us slow and heavy. After the modernisation, server response time went from 2.47 s to 0.29 s, 5,030 images were moved to WebP and the page weight dropped by 44%. We do not name clients without their consent, so the store is not named here; on a call we can show you the work on screen.

After launch most stores need three things: care at 900 AED a month with 2 hours of changes, SEO for stores at 4,500 AED a month with category and product pages, and catalogue ads on Meta at 3,900 AED or Shopping on Google at 4,500 AED a month plus ad budget. None of them is required to buy the store.

07 / What we do not promise

What you will not hear from us

08 / Questions

Questions people ask before they buy

How much does an ecommerce website cost in Dubai?

Published quotes range from about 4,000 AED for a template shop to 150,000 AED and more. Our stores cost 7,900 AED for up to 30 products, 12,900 AED for up to 150, 19,900 AED for up to 500, and custom projects start from 29,000 AED, net.

Do I need an e-commerce licence to sell online in Dubai?

Usually your trade licence has to include an e-commerce activity. Check with your free zone or the Department of Economy and Tourism. Payment gateways ask for it too. We do not give licensing advice.

Which payment gateway should I use in the UAE?

Pick one that accepts your type of licence, supports WooCommerce and pays out in AED to your bank. The account is opened by your company; we connect it and test it.

Can you move my existing store without losing Google traffic?

Yes. We move products and customers where the old platform allows it and redirect old product and category addresses to the new ones.

Do you build stores in Arabic?

No. Stores are built in English, with Polish as a second language on Sales and above.

Do the prices include VAT? Can I pay in instalments?

Prices are net. VAT at 5% is added where it applies. Payment can be split into instalments as set out in the contract.
